In this relaxed workshop, you’ll create a beautiful 2-4 paneled sampler inspired by textiles in the Old York’s collection. Step-by-step instructions will guide beginner and seasoned painters in this special-edition class.
Whether you’re new to watercolor or already love to paint, this class offers something for everyone. We’ll explore:
- Foundational watercolor techniques (blending, layering,and linework)
- How to paint natural hex and wreath shapes , symmetrical patterns, stars, florals, fruits, and sprigs of leaves.
- Techniques for working with gold paint.
- Easy composition tips to design your finished watercolor sampler
All materials are provided. Students will leave with their completed 8×8 watercolor samplers, ready to frame or gift.
