Please join us on Memorial Day as we kick off our 250 at Old York season, which commemorates the nation’s Semiquincentennial with programs and events highlighting York’s rich Revolutionary history.
Visit the newly refreshed exhibition, The Best of York: Treasures from the Collection, in the Remick Gallery with its focus on Revolutionary-era artifacts. Tour the Old Gaol, Jefferds Tavern, and the York Corner Schoolhouse. The Emerson-Wilcox House will also be open for a quick peek!
And don’t miss our special free walking tour at 1:00 pm, Answering the Call: York’s Wartime Service. The tour highlights those who fought for our new nation, and those who protected our freedoms in the conflicts since. Tickets for the tour will be available at the Museum Center, however, we encourage you to reserve tickets online as space is limited.
