As a nonprofit organization, Old York receives no town, state, or federal funding. We rely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and businesses to underwrite the costs of our education programs, the maintenance of our iconic properties, as well as the stewardship of our exceptional collections of artifacts and archival materials that embody the history of York, Maine.

“I have used the option of a tax-deductible charitable contribution for years. It’s called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), and my gift was easily transferred by my financial institution directly to Old York. I get to support an organization that is near and dear to me. Plus, I love the annual tax deduction!” – anonymous donor
