For almost fifty years, generations of York’s 5th graders have participated in the beloved “York Living History” field trip that gives children a chance to experience colonial activities…and now the public can experience it for one day! This event is appropriate for participants ages 0-99!
Activities include:
Embroidery 10:00 a.m–2:00 p.m.
Hearth Cooking 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
School & Games 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
The Old Gaol, Remick Gallery, and Emerson-Wilcox House will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and are included in the day’s FREE admission.
This is also a great opportunity to meet and learn about many of our community partners, including: Blaisdell Bros. Family Farm, Center for Wildlife, Partners Bank, Porcupine Hill Maple Syrup, LLC, White Pine Programs, York Fire Department, York Hospital, York Parks & Rec, York Police Department, York Public Library, York River Wild & Scenic.
